Meet the Orthodontists
Ralph DeDomenico, D.M.D.
Dr. Ralph DeDomenico received a BS degree in biology from Fairfield University in Connecticut in 1970. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in May 1974 from the University of Louisville. He was awarded a teaching position on the faculty of the University of Louisville for one year, following graduation.
He then entered into orthodontic specialty training at the University of Louisville and also maintained a private general practice in Louisville, KY. Dr. DeDomenico received a certificate in orthodontics in August 1977. He has been engaged in private practice, specializing in orthodontics for adults and children in Tampa, FL since 1977.
Dr. DeDomenico is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. This is the only orthodontic specialty board recognized by the American Dental Association and sponsored by the American Association of Orthodontists.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Florida Orthodontic Association, West Coast Dental Association, Florida Cleft Palate Association, Florida Dental Association, American Society of Dentistry for Children, and the Hillsborough County Dental Association.
Dr. DeDomenico was on the faculty of the University of Florida for 12 years and is currently on the faculty at the University of Louisville as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the orthodontic residency program.
He is married and has three sons.

Matthew DeDomenico, D.M.D.
Dr. Matthew “Matt” DeDomenico grew up in Tampa and graduated from the Academy of the Holy Names and Jesuit High School. While at Jesuit he was a member of the 1994 State championship baseball team. After receiving a degree in Biology from Florida State University, he went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. There he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a DMD degree. As well as graduating at the top of his class, he was honored with membership in Omicron Kappa Delta and the prestigious academic society of Omicron Kappa Upsilon. He continued his education at the University of Louisville and earned his Certificate in Advanced Training from their Graduate Orthodontic program.
Dr. Matt received advanced training in many current trends, including, but not limited to, Invisalign®, Sure smile®, self-ligation, the use of soft tissue lasers, and Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs).
Dr. Matt is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontics, and Florida Association of Orthodontics.
In his free time, he enjoys fishing, hunting, watching football and baseball, grilling, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. Dr Matt is married and has a son.
